European Touring Car Cup
XADO company lent its support to the Ukrainian auto racer Kseniia Niks once again. This time Kseniia went to the latest stage of the European Touring Car Cup and finally managed to break a losing streak.
The first half of the season wasn’t successful for the racer from Kharkiv. Car troubles constantly prevented her from performing properly in France and Slovakia, thus Kseniia scored only six points during two races. In Germany the racer couldn’t even come to the starting line due to a car accident during the qualification round.
This is why the reasonability of further participation in the competition depended solely on the results of the fourth series stage. Although the first priority for Kseniia was to come to finish by any means necessary, an exciting moment was that points scored during the Portuguese stage would be doubled.
This time the participants drove on the track Circuito Internacional de Vila Real which passed right through the narrow streets of Vila Real. Safety barriers protected fans, houses, and shops on both sides of the road. Any slight mishap when going into corner could lead to a crash and loss of the vehicle. Kseniia Niks completed this task perfectly — she drove without a single mistake and came fifth and forth in the first and second races accordingly.
So the racer from Kharkiv added eighteen points to six she already had from previous stages and moved to the seventh place in the Super 1600 class. Now she stands a good chance to claim fourth place according to the results of the season which would be a pretty good conclusion of the year.
